Setup: Official manual: place unit on the ground 6-8 ft (1.8-2.4 m) behind the tee; tee must be at least 8 ft (2.4 m) from the net indoors; 2x2 ft hitting area starting 6 ft from the unit. Min depth 14 ft = 6 ft (unit-to-tee) + 8 ft (tee-to-net), derived from official figures and matching PlayBetter's 'recommended total room depth: 14 feet'. Ceiling 9 ft and width 10 ft are RETAILER figures (PlayBetter); Garmin only says 'adequate ceiling height'.

Data notes

Radar-based ('internal device radar', official manual). Club metrics (club head speed, club path etc.) provided via radar; Garmin does not label measured-vs-calculated per metric on fetched sources. Left-handed: unit sits behind the ball on the target line so no repositioning (PlayBetter: 'seamless switching between right- and left-handed players'; Carl's Place same); handedness is set in the Garmin Golf app player profile - the official manual itself does not document handedness, and Garmin's support article 'Left Handed Swing Detection With Approach Launch Monitors' (support.garmin.com faq=tmQvaJFytd6PWAP7r87AK9) could not be machine-fetched. Price $499.99 confirmed at PlayBetter, Rain or Shine and Shop Indoor Golf on 2026-07-10; garmin.com renders JS-only so the manufacturer price is not machine-verifiable (a former manufacturer-direct offer pointing at the owner's-manual PDF was removed as an import error). Software cleanup 2026-07-10: duplicate unsourced entries (Garmin Golf App / E6 Connect / Garmin Golf) merged into their sourced rows; Creative Golf dropped because no fetched source attested it; TGC 2019 and Awesome Golf kept per PlayBetter's listing. Amazon review count not machine-fetchable (HTTP 500 on 2026-07-10) - left out rather than guessed. Review ratings shown are as displayed by each site (RoS 4.7 computed from its displayed star breakdown).

Before you decide

At $499.99 across every store we track, the R10 is the cheapest way into radar-based sim golf with GSPro support out of the box. Respect the space math before buying: it wants 14 ft of room depth, and Garmin does not document which metrics are measured versus calculated.
