Setup: Official manual: place on flat ground at the same height as the ball, in a room with little/no sunlight (front must not face direct sunlight). Hitting zone is 15x15 cm centered 42 cm in front of and 23 cm to the right of the unit (~19 in diagonal offset - unit sits beside/behind the ball, not behind the target line). Stick zone (swing-stick virtual shots): 42 cm front, centered. No room minimums published by Square Golf. Indoor only (PlayBetter, secondary).

Data notes
High-speed stereo vision cameras with IR LED lighting (official); PlayBetter says two cameras + eight infrared sensors. Club data via reflective marker attached 20 cm up the club shaft (official manual; some data measured without marker). Spin measured with dedicated marked balls (3 included). Left-handed: NOT documented in the official manual (zero 'left' mentions); the hitting zone is defined offset to one side (right 23 cm), and third-party reviews report repositioning the unit for lefties - manual-reposition is the best-supported answer but is NOT officially confirmed; flag for human verification. GSPro list names it 'Square (Home)'; Awesome Golf compatibility claimed by retailers but not on fetched official pages (omitted). Official shop price $699.00, showing sold out on 2026-07-02 (newer Square Omni now sold alongside); PlayBetter lists $699.99.
